The Archdiocese of Los Angeles has provided several lists of accused priests and clergy who have been credibly accused of child sexual abuse. The list below provides more information about some of those priests. Since 1990, outed sex offender Fr. Jefferey Newell has repeatedly defiled countless children entrusted to him, liable for the mental and physical trauma to his young victims. Newell’s repeated pattern of sexual child abuse has gone publicly unaddressed by the Roman Catholic Church, allowing for Fr. Newell to continue serving uninformed, vulnerable families and children within the Hispanic community today. Rather held accountable and stripped of authority for his crimes, Fr. Newell was promoted, praised, and present in the lives of innocent victims for decades, despite multiple complaints recorded and false promises of justice made.
Father James Robinson

Fr. Robinson worked in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles after being transferred from England. During the 1970s and 1980s had raped several boys. Officials in Britain gave false information about his sexual history to Los Angeles, resulting in multiple assignments throughout the Los Angeles area. Fr. Robinson has been arrested and convicted of his crimes, but officials suspect there are more victims.
Father Carlos Rene Rodriguez

Father Rodriguez is a notorious pedofile. He has served prison time for his crimes and is a registered sex offender. However he continues to use his skills as a minister and church leader to access families and children.
Bishop Alexander Salazar

Bishop Salazar is a classic example of the Catholic Church’s disregard for the law and for the lives of children. Salazar had complaints about his lewd conduct with young boys as early as 2002. However, despite these complaints and a police investigation, Salazar was promoted to the level of Bishop and worked in some of the highest ranks and offices in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles.
