Jose Mosqueda taught Special Education classes in the Alhambra Unified School District at Repetto Elementary School in Monterey Park, CA. Due to his role as a Special Education teacher, Mosqueda was encouraged to spend one-on-one time with his students. Mosqueda abused his role and responsibility by sexually molesting at least three girls in his Repetto Elementary classroom. The young girls were sexually molested during school hours while teacher’s aides were present.
Mosqueda was arrested in 2011 and convicted of molesting four of his special education students in 2014. He was sentenced to serve 16 years in a California State Prison.
