As a full-time child molestation lawyer, Anthony DeMarco has successfully helped more than 400 Southern California survivors of childhood sexual abuse recover financially. Anthony knows how important it is to help sexual abuse survivors understand and cope with the effects of their abuse, to find the truth about their abusers, and to hold those who covered up for the abusers accountable.
Anthony was born and raised in the Greater Los Angeles area and has a close connection with the local communities and people of Southern California. He graduated from California State University at Los Angeles in 1992 and earned his Law Degree at Loyola Law School, in Los Angeles in 1996. Anthony has been working as a lawyer with a special emphasis on sexual abuse civil law, now, for 20 years.
In representing sexual abuse survivors from Southern California communities, Anthony DeMarco has personally interviewed and counseled hundreds of child and adult survivors of clergy sexual abuse, as well as abuse by other authority figures such as teachers, coaches, and youth group counselors. His experience in the field of sexual abuse law affords him a unique understanding for how to navigate the difficulties of confronting churches regarding pedophile priests, archbishops, bishops, and other high-ranking officials who have harmed children.
While much of Anthony’s work has involved Catholic clergy, he has also successfully filed and settled cases of child sexual abuse against the Los Angeles Unified School District, Alhambra Unified School District, American Youth Soccer Association (AYSO), the Seventh Day Adventists, the Lutheran Church, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and The International Four Square Church.
