Joanna Robles was born and raised in the Los Angeles area and attended The University of California, Santa Cruz, obtaining a major in Politics and a minor in history. Joanna then attended Loyola Law School in Los Angeles.
During law school Joanna externed for a Judge of the Los Angeles Superior Court at Stanley Mosk Courthouse, interned at the Office of the Attorney General in Washington, D.C., and represented tenants in housing court as a supervised law student with the New York Legal Assistance Group at housing court in Jamaica, Queens, New York. She also represented children as a clinical student of the year-long Juvenile Justice Clinic at Loyola, handling all aspects of her clients’ juvenile delinquency cases at the Inglewood Juvenile Court as a supervised student attorney.
With the De Marco Law Firm, Joanna has represented childhood sexual abuse survivors for nearly a decade. Joanna works with both adult and child clients in her practice. She has been instrumental in obtaining settlements for many of her clients who were sexually abused by employees of school districts and other public entities. Joanna prides herself on the compassionate care she extends to her clients while guiding them through the civil litigation process.
